What's changing
New licenses to claim into the org.
A renewal adds the full term to the time remaining and replaces the org’s license limits with the renewed set (kept the same as step 1 here). Expired orgs must renew — additions can’t revive an expired org.
Method: Cisco Meraki’s “The Science behind Licensing Co-Termination.” Every license is weighted by its 1-year list price; an N-year license contributes N × 365 days at that weight.
